Terms of use

Version 1.0 · July 2026

These are plain-language terms for Soar's early-access period. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, ask us.

What Soar is right now

Soar is an invite-only personal planner and study coach, in early access. There is no public sign-up and no fee during early access. Features marked as planned or coming soon are not promises of a date; they ship when they are ready and, where a school is involved, only with that school's approval.

Who may use Soar, and who agrees

Soar is for students 13 and older. Accounts are created only from a family invitation. For any student under 18, the parent or guardian is the contracting party: the adult accepts these terms on the family's behalf and holds the account relationship. By inviting a student, the parent confirms the student is 13 or older.

Acceptable use

Soar is for managing your own family's schoolwork. Do not attempt to reach another family's data, probe or overload the service, or use Soar to do anything unlawful. Invitation codes are for the person they were created for and may not be shared beyond them.

Your data is yours

The family's planner data belongs to the family. You can ask for a copy of it, and you can ask for it to be deleted, at any time by emailing us; an in-app export and delete are planned before beta. When a family ends its use of Soar, deletion of its student data completes within 60 days of the request, and we offer an export first. How data is handled day to day is covered by the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

Honest limits

Soar is a planning aid, not a system of record. Due dates and grades in Soar can lag or differ from what the school shows, so the school's own systems are the final word. Early-access software also breaks sometimes. We name the protections we have built rather than promise perfection, and Soar is provided as is during early access, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

If Soar ever winds down

If Soar were ever to stop operating, we commit to advance notice, a window to export your data first, and verified deletion of student data afterward.

Changes and contact

These terms are versioned and dated at the top. If they change in a way that matters, families with accounts will be told directly. These terms are governed by Ohio law. Questions: email ceo@executive-os.ai.
